The first room was dirty: the bed was unmade - looked like someone had just gotten out of it (and this was at 3:30 PM); there were dirty soda cups on the night stand, etc. When I went to the office and told them, they acted as if they thought I was lying. Traveling as Couple
If you need a place to stay and you're on a budget, this is a good place. However, the room was always clean and the staff was always friendly. The other big plus is the hotel's proximity to downtown Abilene. It's nice that the hotel offers WiFi, but something should be done to strengthen it. For the price, the hotel was fine. I was surprised at the extras in the room. It was a quick stay and served it's purpose.

Solo Traveler
This hotel was the worse place I have ever stayed. The sheets were not only dirty but had cigarette burns on them. The bathroom had hair and trash in it and a dirty toilet. We had to ask for extra tissue paper and towels. Hotel staff was off on Sunday so we had to wait for them to call staff to come get towels for us. Desk clerk was very rude. Family with Young Children
Our family was very disappointed. We had extended family staying across town in hotels, compared to this place should be 5 star. This should be a 1 star at the most. I went to my car to get something for the kids and was approached by a man asking for money. I ran back to my room and never went back out till daylight. This is a motel, not hotel and this is about 40-50 yrs old. This was an awful place. I had family staying at Marriott Courtyard and Holiday Inn Express. ...read more
